Colorado (4-4) will try to snap its two-game losing streak when it hosts No. 16 Oregon State (6-2) on Saturday night. The Buffaloes blew a 29-0 lead in their most recent home game, losing to Stanford in double overtime on Oct. 13. They returned from their bye week with a 28-16 road loss at then-No. 23 UCLA last week, getting outscored 21-10 in the second half under first-year coach Deion Sanders. Oregon State won three straight games prior to its 27-24 loss to Arizona last week, falling to fourth place in the Pac-12 standings.

Kickoff is set for 10 p.m. ET on Saturday at Folsom Field. The Beavers are favored by 13 points in the latest Colorado vs. Oregon State odds, while the over/under is set at 59 points, per SportsLine consensus. Before making any Oregon State vs. Colorado picks, you’ll want to see the college football predictions from the model at SportsLine.

Why Colorado can cover

Oregon State’s struggles have come primarily on the road this season, as it has lost two of its last three road games. The Beavers lost to Arizona as 3-point road favorites last week, allowing a critical 14-0 run in the fourth quarter. Quarterback DJ Uiagalelei completed just 16 of 30 passes for 218 yards-he has been held under 300 passing yards in every game this season.

Colorado’s offense has been putting up huge numbers all season, powered by junior quarterback Shedeur Sanders. He has thrown for 2,637 yards, 22 touchdowns and just three interceptions, going over 300 passing yards on five occasions. The Buffaloes have not lost a home game by more than seven points in four tries this season, and Oregon State has not won a road game against a Power 5 team by 13-plus points. See which team to pick here.

Why Oregon State can cover

Colorado has been unable to maintain its early-season momentum, losing four of its last five games following its 3-0 start. The Buffaloes have lost to three ranked teams during that stretch, with two of those losses coming by double digits. They also lost to Stanford in double overtime as 13-point favorites, blowing a 29-0 lead in the second half.

Oregon State is coming off a narrow road loss at Arizona, but it won its previous three games by double digits, beating then-No. 10 Utah and then-No. 18 UCLA. The Beavers are led by junior quarterback Uiagalelei, who has racked up 1,791 passing yards, 17 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Sophomore running back Damien Martinez balances the offense with 763 rushing yards and three touchdowns. See which team to pick here.
