Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2025: The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has announced a recruitment drive to fill 750 positions, including apprentice roles. The application window has been opened from today (August 10) and will end on August 20. Eligible candidates can apply through the bank’s official website at iob.in. The recruitment examination is scheduled for August 24.
To qualify, applicants must hold a degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the central government. The age criteria for general and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates range from 20 to 28 years. The selection process will involve an online examination, a test of proficiency in the local language, and a personal interaction round.
The competitive examination will consist of 100 questions carrying a total of 100 marks, with a duration of 90 minutes. Candidates are required to take the test online using a device equipped with a camera—such as a desktop, laptop, or smartphone. These fees must be paid to complete the application process.
The registration fee varies by category:
– Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Rs 472
– Female candidates and those from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category: Rs 708
– General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): Rs 944
Meanwhile, those who are eligible for IOB recruitment can also apply for SBI clerk which has 6,589 vacancies. The State Bank of India (SBI) has started the application process for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales), commonly known as SBI Clerk. All those interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website — sbi.co.in — until August 26, 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 6,589 Junior Associate vacancies, including regular and backlog posts.
