A former air steward has revealed the details about Princess Catherine and Prince William’s peculiar travel regulation, just before their rumoured forthcoming visit to India.
As senior members of the Royal Family, the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, must comply with stringent flight procedures. Yet Catherine and William also observe one specific regulation that pertains solely to them, according to former British Airways cabin crew member and ex-reality TV star Helena Ford, who witnessed the pair directly while helping them prior to jetting off to the popular reality programme’s villa in Majorca.
Ford’s disclosures regarding the Waleses’ royal travel protocols emerge alongside speculation that Catherine might accompany her husband at the 2026 Earthshot Prize ceremony in India this November.
Ford told Made in Chelsea star Olivia Bentley on the Private Parts podcast, per Hello!, “I think there is a thing in place where they can’t fly in the highest cabin, so if there’s a first class, they have to sit in business, and if there isn’t a first class, they have to sit in Traveler Plus.”
