The recent sexual assault allegations made about Cornell University have prompted a global conversation about US college and university campus culture.
“Jane Doe” filed a civil lawsuit last month against multiple parties, including the university, accusing seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity of sexually assaulting her at a party at their fraternity house on campus in October 2024. All of the men named in the lawsuit have denied wrongdoing, and none have been criminally charged.
Still, the university president, Michael Kotlikoff acknowledged on Tuesday in an interview with the New York Times that “there is a loss of trust” among Cornell students and that “people are angry.”
We’d like to hear from current college students or recent graduates about how they feel about campus culture in 2026. What’s your take on modern drinking culture? What’s your stance on Greek life? Let us know your thoughts.
