The Global Super Teachers Conference is by far the largest gathering of education professionals and stakeholders in Africa.
The conference seeks to address challenges and opportunities within the education industry while providing information and education to participating teachers, school leaders, education professionals, media, parents and teachers with updated standards in first world countries.
The assertion has always been that when it comes to raising quality of teaching and learning in schools, most, if not all African nations are merely playing catch-up. The Global Super Teachers Conference acts as a launchpad for meeting the criteria essential to raise educational standards.
The theme for this year’s conference is COLLABORATION. Emphasizing the need for all education stakeholders to come together to share ideas, resources, strategies, aspirations, technology as well as school best practices to help elevate the standards of teaching and learning in schools.

The previous GSTC was made possible via partnerships with schools, media organizations, business entities, and well-meaning people. Sunflower school has claimed the distinction of being the first school to partner with Africa Education Gateway to present the Global Super Teachers Conference this year.
The school, which is situated in North Kaneshie, a few minutes’ drive from Demod is headed by Mrs. Alberta Kyesasu. Speaking to School World Media in an interview, she disclosed that her teachers in the past had been regular attendees of the Global Super Teachers Conference and the results have been highly beneficial to her school.
She also emphasized that being a GLOSSNET member school has been immensely beneficial to her school hence the need to support an initiative that continues to make a positive impact on the industry.

Africa Education Gateway in this 9th edition will be delivering the Global super Teachers Conference in the month of August both in-person and online. Registrations are presently open.
